Have you ever wondered why spots get larger on carpet after you clean them? Heres why, when cleaning a spot on carpet if you spray the cleaner directly on the spot to be cleaned, as the cleaner breaks down the spot on the carpet, the cleaner acts as a carrier and spreads over the carpet creating a larger spot than before.
How to clean a spot on carpet correctly:
Always start by using a clean cloth (preferrably white). Never use a paper towel to clean a spot. Using a clean cloth, gently blot the spot to be cleaned. This action will transfer the spot from the carpet to the cloth. If the spot does not come up then you have one of two situations: 1. The spot has been there too long and has become a stain ( stains are generally permanent) or 2. It could be that you do not have the correct carpet spotter to remove the spot. We recommend trying CARPET MAGIC.
CAUTION: When cleaning spots on very light or white colored carped ALWAYS check you carpet cleaner to see what color it it. Some cleaners contain dyes that could stain carpet. Always test first or use a carpet spotter that is natural and dye free. |

First of all you want to be sure you have the right cleaner for the job. When cleaning bathrooms you have a variety of soils to clean. For example you have soap scum, human oils, bathoils, dirt, grease, lime, rust and much much more. You need a cleaner like BATHROOM MAGIC that will clean and deposit a barrier on the surface, without being slick, that will help protect the surface from attracting these soils until the next cleaning.
Our cleaner BATHROOM MAGIC not only cleans but it leaves a wax-like barrier to help protect from build up , so the next time you clean it is a lot easier.
The first time you clean, move all objects from the tub, spray liberally and let the BATHROOM MAGIC remain on the surface for a few minutes. Rub or brush surface to be cleaned and rinse in warm or hot water. You should see a nice clean and shiny surface. If the tub is very dirty it could take another cleaning to remove all the soils. Once soils are removed and a routine cleaning is maintained, BATHROOM MAGIC will make cleaning a breeze. |

From carpets, floors, urinals, around commodes or anywhere urine or feces have been excreted. The best way to eliminate the above type of odors are by using an ecological type of product with enzymes. Enzymes are a type of species that actually consume odors, thereby eliminating the foul smell caused by pets and humans.
Carpets tend to be the hardest places to eliminate odors. In order to get out the odor you have to get to the odor causing bacteria. For example, when urine is excreted onto carpet is tends to soak into not only the carpet but also the backing and the floor, making it much harder to eliminate.
First, spray an enzyme based product such as ODOR OUT on the surface of the carpet to see if that eliminates the odor. If the odor is still present then the enzyme in the ODOR OUT has not yet reached the area where the odor causing bacteria are present. You have to get the ODOR OUT through the carpet, the backing and down to the floor. One way to do this is to use a syringe and inject the ODOR OUT through the carpet and backing allowing it to get onto the floor underneath. You would need to allow the ODOR OUT some time to see if it reached all the odor causing bacteria. If the odor is gone you got all the odor causing bacteria, if it is not gone then you may have to make several injections into the carpet, around the area until the odor is eliminated.
For floors, urinals and commodes, clean up the excess urine then spray ODOR OUT on the area where the urine was. Wait a few minutes then mop up using warm water and a detergent solution. The odor will be eliminated.
For fecal matter. Remove the excess feces then spray ODOR OUT on the area where the feces was. Wait a few minutes then wipe clean. If there is a stain left behind then our carpet cleaner, CARPET MAGIC, will remove spots and stains. (Refer to the How to clean carpet section). |
